How a furnace heating system failure can affect your home:

  • blower motor failure can mean the system won't supply enough heat
  • broken circuit board could mean no heat
  • lack of heat could cause pipes to freeze and induce water damage

As a homeowner, you are responsible for the heating system inside your home, and you will have to arrange and pay for any necessary repairs. This illustration shows a typical heating system found in your home. ‡National average repair costs as of January 2023. No charge for covered repairs up to your service call benefit amount.

Overview

As a homeowner, maintaining the natural gas heating system in your home is your responsibility. Unfortunately, system failures can happen at anytime, and basic homeowners insurance does not typically cover repairs due to normal wear and tear. If your natural gas heating system fails mid-winter it can be a hassle to find a qualified contractor to make your home comfortable quickly.

PremierHeat plan is the simple, low-cost way to take the worry out of gas heating repairs. For one low monthly fee you get UNLIMITED service calls for your natural gas heating system, all season long, with $0 deductible and NO additional bills to pay for covered repairs.
