HomeServe’s HVAC Expansion Continues with Crawford Services, Inc.

Marks company’s first acquisition in Texas as it grows HVAC segment

Norwalk, Connecticut – December 12, 2019 – HomeServe USA (HomeServe), a leading provider of service plans, repair and installation services for the home, today announced the acquisition of Grand Prairie, Texas-based Crawford Services. The 11-year-old Crawford Services is HomeServe’s first acquisition in Texas and will help the company establish an HVAC operations hub in the Southwest.

The family owned and operated Crawford Services was founded by Brad Crawford and Tim Buford in 2008, and offers air conditioning, heating and plumbing services throughout the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex. The Crawford team works across the residential installations, residential services, construction, commercial and plumbing segments.

“As we look at HVAC companies to bring into the HomeServe family, we scout those that stand out from the rest with an unparalleled commitment to offering an exceptional experience. The business Brad and Tim run at Crawford Services is just that type of company, and I’m pleased they’re both staying on to continue running the company,” commented HomeServe North America CEO John Kitzie.

With a team of more than 100 people, Crawford Services has grown into a locally renown, dependable company. From repairing existing equipment to installing new systems, designing complex plans for high-end residences and commercial properties and being an HVAC and water heater install provider to seven area Costco wholesale warehouses, Crawford is situated to be a growth engine for HomeServe’s new Southwest home services hub.

“When we started Crawford Services a decade ago, Tim Buford and I had a vision to deliver a high touch, white glove experience to the home services market in the DFW area. Our employees’ commitment to live out our company core values and provide exceptional comfort solutions has resonated well with our clients," said Brad Crawford. "We're excited to continue our growth trajectory alongside HomeServe and honored to be their first Texas-based acquisition."
