Xcel Energy selected HomeServe,* an independent company, to provide their customers affordable emergency repair plans that help protect against costly and inconvenient covered repairs to systems through their homes and properties. Xcel Energy and HomeServe entered into an agreement to introduce these plans to Xcel Energy's customers.

This Plan Includes: 1

- One-year guarantee on all covered repairs
What's covered: 1
- Broken or failed capacitors, circuit boards, internal fuses, and breakers
- Condensate pumps, condenser motor, and condenser fan
- Contactor switches, delay timer, fan controls, and fan relays
- Filter dryer, high and low pressure switches, and limit controls
- Up to 1 pound of refrigerant
- Relays, transformers, and valves
Exclusions: 1
- Air ducts, a/c coils, registers, grilles, asbestos coverings, balancing of system, wiring and parts external to the unit, compressors or chillers, condenser casings, condenser coils, evaporator coils, metering systems/TXV valves, refrigerant for maintenance recharges, thermostats, thermostat wiring, disconnect boxes and all wiring, breakers and switches contained within them, refrigerant conversions, and damage from accidents, negligence or otherwise caused by you, others or unusual circumstances. Costs on covered repairs may exceed the benefit limit, in which case you pay the difference between the cost and the benefit limit. Additional exclusions apply.

- Gas valves, ignition controls, and induced draft motor
- Blower, low water cutoff, main burners, pilot burners, pilots, and thermocouples
- Pressure switches and regulator valves
- Relays, spill switches, and transformers
Exclusions: 2
- Air ducts, registers, air filters, zoning components and electronics, electronic air cleaners, flue venting, humidifiers, thermostats, thermostat wiring, air balancing, chimney maintenance or repairs, heating jacket, asbestos or other insulation, heat exchangers, leaking boilers, boiler distribution piping, radiators, and damage from accidents, negligence or otherwise caused by you, others or unusual circumstances. Costs on covered repairs may exceed the benefit limit, in which case you pay the difference between the cost and the benefit limit. Additional exclusions apply.
