If your Baxi boiler develops a problem, try not to panic. The boiler will display an error code that can help you to figure out what the exact problem is. Your boiler will not be experiencing a fault unless the code showing has an E prefix. If the code does not have an E prefix it is not a fault but a status at which the boiler is operating.

In the event of a fault, the status signal for the Baxi status button button will flash red. The most common Baxi fault and operation codes are listed below:

Baxi boiler fault codes

E10: Outside sensor error

E20: Central heating thermostat sensor fault

E28: Flue Thermistor Fault

E54: HW Flow sensor fault

E78: Water pressure sensor fault

E100: Internal clock time error on PCB

E109: Poor circulation
