1. Vokèra Linea fault code 10 (Vokèra Compact code A01)

This fault code suggests that there is an ignition failure with the boiler. You might also hear the boiler sparking up but failing to ignite.

Potential fix: To fix this issue, your qualified engineer will aim to test the voltage going to the gas valve. If no voltage is flowing there, then there could be a problem with the printed circuit board and it might need replacing. If there is voltage going to the gas valve, then it could be a problem with either this component or the solenoid valve.


2. Vokèra Linea fault code 40/41 (Vokéra Compact code A04)

If your boiler shows this fault code, it could be because its pressure levels are low. This could be as a result of a leak or an air bubble trapped in your system.

Potential fix: To fix this, a qualified engineer could find the filling loop beneath your boiler and top up the pressure to 1–1.5 bar.


3. Vokèra Linea fault code 92/93 and 95

These fault codes typically indicate that the condensate pipe is blocked, frozen or failing to drain. This can occur particularly if the condensate pipe runs outside; this issue usually occurs in the winter.

Potential fix: You could try to thaw your condensate pipe by pouring hot-water (never use boiling water) over it. You could also use a hot-water bottle or heat pack. 4. Vokèra Compact fault code A03

This fault code usually indicates that there’s a problem with your boiler’s fan. Over time, these can wear down.

Potential fix: To rectify this problem, your trained engineer will aim to check the power levels with a volt meter. If there is no power, then there could be an issue with the wiring to the circuit board. If there is power, then it most likely is a problem with the fan itself and it will need replacing.


5. Vokéra Flowmatic boilers – no hot water

If you find that you have no hot-water and the water is only lukewarm, or that you only get hot water when the heating is on, then it could be because you have a faulty diverter valve.

Potential fix: Your local HomeServe engineer could fix this problem by replacing the diaphragm washer or alternatively the whole diverter valve.
