If you are a homeowner and took out your policy on or after 8 February 2017, one of our approved engineers will have been out to complete your Boiler Health Check, to ensure your boiler/gas central heating system is eligible for cover.
If you took out your policy before this date, please check that your boiler/gas central heating system is not included in the list below, under “These are the certain boilers, systems and equipment that cannot be, and are not, covered”. If it is, then please call us free on 0330 0247 999* and we will talk you through your options.
If you have moved address, then your boiler/gas central heating system will need to pass a Boiler Health Check, to ensure it is eligible for cover. Please refer to “boiler eligibility” below. If the boiler at the new address is one of the makes/models listed, please call us free on 0330 0247 999* and we will talk you through your options.
Please also be aware that boilers fuelled by oil, liquid petroleum gas (LPG) or solid fuels, as well as certain systems and equipment cannot be covered. Additionally, Thermal Storage units are excluded from cover on the majority of our policies – please check your Terms & Conditions for your specific policy coverage.
