30 Day Money Back Guarantee
Why Choose this Plan
It costs $1,658 to replace the weatherhead, service cable from weatherhead to meter box and the service entrance conductor.*
Problems with your exterior electrical wiring system can cause:
- a power outage
- exposed electrical wires
- flickering lights
Many homeowners are not aware that they may be responsible to pay for repairs to some exterior electrical components on their private property. If your exterior electrical wiring breaks down, you need a qualified electrician to reconnect overhead lines, replace underground service, repair a loose meter or replace faulty wiring. Without the Exterior Electrical Coverage, a breakdown may require you to pay these typical costs for repairs.
*Costs shown are estimates only. Actual repair costs could be more or less than stated cost. National average repair costs within the HomeServe network as of June 2020. No charge for covered repairs up to your annual benefit amount.
- Meter base
- Service entrance conductor
- Failed permanent high voltage electrical wiring
Exterior electrical component failures can be caused by aging of the power line, tripped breakers, ground settling, weatherhead corrosion, a loose entrance cable, a broken meter socket, or a loose breaker. It can be expensive to repair or replace your home's exterior electrical components.
Help safeguard your finances against the costs of emergency repairs with a home service repair plan. Eligible homeowners can select Exterior Electrical Line Coverage, which provides up to $3,000 in annual coverage with multiple service calls for covered repairs. This optional coverage can help ensure that your exterior electric line can be fixed by a licensed and insured professional in a timely manner.
- $3,000 annual benefit amount
- Multiple service calls up to annual benefit
- 30-day wait period with a money-back guarantee
- One-year guarantee on all covered repairs
