
San Jose Water Company wants its customers to be informed about services offered by HomeServe who can provide you with affordable repair plans for repairs to your exterior water line and sewer/septic line.
While HomeServe is not a licensed contractor, the repairs will be conducted by our network of trusted, licensed and reliable local contractors.

Benefit Details: Coverage provides, up to the applicable benefit limit, to repair or replace an exterior water service line that has experienced an operational failure, for which you have sole responsibility, from your utility’s responsibility or external wall of your well casing to the external wall of your home that is damaged due to normal wear and tear, not accident or negligence. Repair or replacement of non-functioning stop boxes, shut-off valves, pressure reducing valves and backflow prevention devices is also covered.
Not Covered: Branch lines, frozen lines, any tanks or appliances, and damage from accidents, negligence or otherwise caused by you, others or unusual circumstances. Additional exclusions apply. Disputes resolved by arbitration, without class action or jury trial, unless otherwise stated in your full Terms and Conditions.
Making a Service Call: Your plan starts 30 days after your Form is processed. You can make a service call immediately after your plan starts. During the initial 30-day review period you will receive the Terms and Conditions to help you decide if coverage is right for you. Upon renewal/reactivation (if applicable), there is no review period and you can make a service call immediately.
Cancellation: Cancel any time by calling HomeServe or visiting www.homeserve.com. You will not be charged during the review period (if applicable). If you cancel within 30 days of your start date, you will get a full refund (less claims paid, where applicable). Cancellations after the first 30 days will result in a pro-rata refund (less claims paid, where applicable).
Renewal: The plan is annual. Unless you cancel, your plan automatically renews annually at the then-current renewal price with your same payment terms.

Your choice of whether to participate in this plan will not affect the price, availability or terms of water service from San Jose Water.
