  • Why Choose this Plan

Repairing a blower motor and wheel, fan/limit control switch and gas valve on your heating unit can cost an average of $1,637‡.

How a furnace heating system failure can affect your home:

    • blower motor failure can mean the system won't supply enough heat
    • broken circuit board could mean no heat
    • lack of heat could cause pipes to freeze and induce water damage

As a homeowner, you are responsible for the heating system inside your home, and you will have to arrange and pay for any necessary repairs. This illustration shows a typical heating system found in your home. ‡National average repair costs as of December 2024. No charge for covered repairs up to your service call benefit amount.
