    • clogged/backed up drains inside your home
    • sewage flooding in your basement
    • sewage backed up in your yard

As a sewer/septic line ages, it becomes even more likely to leak, clog or break. Be ready for the unexpected with a repair plan from HomeServe and keep what’s underground covered with access to our 24/7 hotline where you can schedule a repair for your exterior sewer/septic line.

*In some towns, the service line beyond the property boundary to the main connection may be an additional responsibility of the homeowner, but is not included in this coverage. Coverage includes the external septic line, but excludes any repair work needed on your septic tank, leaching field, pump or grinder. National average repair costs as of January 2016. No charge for covered repairs up to your service call benefit amount.

Without this optional coverage you may be faced with thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket expenses if a breakdown occurs and replacement is needed.

With an affordable plan from HomeServe, eligible homeowners can avoid paying for the costs of covered repairs to the line that takes wastewater away from their home. Help get protection from time-consuming and expensive repair costs with Exterior Sewer/Septic Line Coverage, which includes an unlimited annual coverage with multiple service calls for covered repairs. This protection covers all types of pipe material regardless of how old it is.
