Your home has a complex network of plumbing and drainage pipes, valves and drains which can break down without warning due to normal wear and tear. There are multiple places where these systems can experience problems, and you may be responsible for pricey replacements and repairs.
Home Plumbing and Drainage Coverage from HomeServe provides covered repairs for your exterior sewer/septic line and interior plumbing and drainage pipes. For your sewer/septic line, you receive two service calls, up to $7,000 of annual of coverage. Each call covers up to $3,500 of repairs. For your interior plumbing and drainage pipes, you receive two service calls, up to $5,000 of annual coverage, with each call covering up to $2,500 of repairs. This annual benefit totaling $12,000 can help protect you from the high costs of repairs.
Important coverage information
Benefit Details: Coverage provides, up to the applicable benefit limit, to repair or replace the following that have experienced an operational failure, for which you have sole responsibility, that are damaged due to normal wear and tear, not accident or negligence. Exterior Sewer/Septic Line: The sewer line from the external wall of your home up to your property boundary, or septic line from the external wall of your home up to the point of connection to the septic tank on your property, including branch drains from the point they exit the home to the point they re-enter the home. Repair or replacement of backflow prevention devices is also included. Interior Plumbing and Drainage: The plumbing and drainage lines in your home.
Not Covered: Damage from accidents, negligence or otherwise caused by you, others or unusual circumstances. Exterior Sewer/Septic Line: Septic/collection tanks; leaching fields; grinder pumps; non-conforming drain lines; branch lines. Interior Plumbing and Drainage: Appliances, fittings and fixtures; vent stacks; pressure reducing valves; backflow prevention devices; pumps or grinders; non-conforming drain lines; frozen pipes; fire suppression and other sprinkler systems, irrigation systems, distribution piping such as for radiators and heating systems, condensate drain lines for cooling systems. Additional exclusions apply. Disputes resolved by arbitration, without class action or jury trial, unless otherwise stated in your full Terms and Conditions.
Making a Service Call: Your plan starts the day your enrollment is processed. There is an initial 30-day waiting period before you can make a service call, providing 11 months of coverage during the first year. Upon renewal/reactivation (if applicable), there is no waiting period.
Cancellation: Cancel any time by calling HomeServe. If you cancel within 30 days of your start date, you will get a full refund (less claims paid, where applicable). Cancellations after the first 30 days will result in a pro-rata refund (less claims paid, where applicable).
Renewal: The plan is annual. Unless you cancel, your plan automatically renews annually at the then-current renewal price with your same payment terms.
