Coverage includes one tune-up for a fully functioning electric central air conditioning system, for which you have sole responsibility. A tune-up includes the following. Check thermostat operation; system temperature split; voltage and amperage to all motors. Clean (if necessary): condensate line; outdoor coil; air filter. Inspect: duct seal at unit and secure panels; disconnect; fuses; wiring; tighten electrical safety circuits; contactors; relays and pressure controls; indoor blower and motor for dirt buildup; bearings; condensate drain; outdoor coil. Replace air filter (customer supplied). Run and test system. Additional exclusions apply.
When can I schedule a tune-up?
You are entitled to one annual cooling system tune-up, which must be scheduled by you.Your plan starts the day your enrollment is processed. There is an initial 30-day waiting period before you can schedule a tune-up. Upon renewal (if applicable), there is no waiting period.
