This Customer Data Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes the way in which HomeServe USA Corp. and its affiliated entities ("We," "Us," "Our") handles personal data collected from its customers ("You"). By accepting the Terms and Conditions of Your plan/policy or other product or service, offered by Us or by Our affiliate or selected partner ("Partners"), You are also accepting and agreeing to the terms set forth in this Policy. We will update this Policy as necessary to comply with state and federal legal standards.


In the course of Our business, it is necessary for Us to access, collect, use, transmit, disclose, store, maintain and otherwise handle personal data about You. This Policy provides the basis for protecting such data while ensuring Our compliance with all state and federal laws and industry requirements.

We collect this personal data to the extent necessary to provide You with information relating to Our services and products, or products and services offered by Our Partners, and to operate and improve Our services to You. We also use this personal data to provide and deliver products and services that may be of interest to you, and send You related information, including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages. We use this personal data to establish and manage Our customer relations and customer service with You, and to perform related functions. We may also use Your personal data for analysis of services and sales, and other related business purpose(s). We may also use Your name and the comments that You may provide in response to questionnaires or surveys for media or publicity purposes on Our marketing, websites or social media platforms.  We will only collect and store Your financial information for payment purposes. We will not use such information for any other purpose, and will take adequate security measures to protect the information You submit.


Your personal data may be disclosed to others including one of our group of companies and Partners to carry out Our services and deliver Our products to You, provide and deliver products and services that may be of interest to you, and send You related information, including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages. We may also share Your personal data with other countries outside the United States (including the U.K., or Canada) where We or Our group of companies operate and process Your personal information. At your request, and where required by law, we will confirm, share and/or update the personal information we hold about You. We, Our affiliates or selected Partners, as set out above, may also use Your personal data to keep You informed by mail, telephone or email of any products or services which We consider may be of interest to You.
