  • Why You Should Get a Plan

Repairing the condenser motor fan and circuit board in your A/C unit can cost an average of $1,086‡ and replacing a 40 gallon water heater can cost an average of $1,459‡.

Problems with your cooling system and water heater can cause:

    • A bad condenser can cause the fan to blow but not cool
    • Circuit board failure can cause the breaker to keep tripping
    • hot water to run out too quickly
    • no hot water for showering or washing
    • noise and odor due to sediment build-up

As a homeowner, you may be responsible for the cooling system and water heater in your home, and you may have to arrange and pay for any necessary repairs.
