HomeServe named UK’s ‘best home emergency cover provider’ for third year running

Leading home assistance provider HomeServe has been named the UK’s best home emergency cover provider for the third year running – and been honoured with a rare “Triple Gold” award – by independent personal finance website Moneynet.
Moneynet handed Walsall-based HomeServe the Triple Gold award as part of its seventh annual personal finance awards, which recognise the UK’s top financial services providers over the last 12 months. HomeServe has achieved top spot in the category in 2015, 2016 and now 2017.
Andrew Hagger of Moneynet chaired the independent judging panel for the 2017 awards. “It has been another fiercely competitive year but some organisations, like HomeServe, continue to stand out in their field and deliver excellent choice, transparency and value for the consumer”, he said.
Annually, the Moneynet judges review each product area and identify those with the finest rates and fees, whilst also taking note of product features and innovative ways of giving the customer an all-round good deal.
“These awards were designed to celebrate organisations that go the extra mile and deliver excellent deals for UK consumers” Andrew added. “HomeServe have, once again, been recognised for their efforts to make life easier for customers. Not only do they provide a diverse range of policies and services, which are clear about what they offer, but they also offer very competitive introductory pricing. Critical too, however, is that they take this level of clarity beyond the introductory price offers and are open with customers about pricing in the following year, which we believe is the right thing to do.”
