HomeServe Membership CEO, Martin Bennett, has been named as the fourth highest rated UK CEO out of 9,000 companies across the country by independent jobs and careers website, Glassdoor, after receiving a 97% approval rating based on the anonymous and voluntary reviews employees at the home assistance and emergency repairs business shared on the site throughout the past year.

CEO approval ratings are gathered through Glassdoor’s transparent and open career community which sees employees rate what it is really like to work at or be interviewed by the company they work for, including whether they approve or disapprove of the way their CEO is leading the business - meaning Martin Bennett has received the ultimate endorsement from the majority of HomeServe Membership’s workforce.

Martin, who was appointed CEO of HomeServe Membership in January 2014, has clearly made a big impact as a leader on its more than 2,000 employees, steering the company back to growth through significant regulatory, commercial and reputational challenge, as well as championing People engagement via regular communication with all employees.

Martin said; “Normally, I prefer the recognition to go to our People who are working with our Customers every day in our offices and in homes all over the UK but to be rated by those same People via Glassdoor’s online community as one of the top UK CEO’s is a real honour.

“At HomeServe Membership, we have a simple mantra: if our People are happy, they will take care of our Customers and that will give us a successful business. We’ve just had the results of our annual People Survey which are incredible and this follows our annual results for 2014/15 which saw us return to growth and deliver increased profits. We are on an exciting journey!”

Glassdoor CEO and Co-founder Robert Hohman said; “Gaining the trust and approval of an entire workforce is one of the most difficult tasks for a CEO to undertake. I celebrate the leaders appearing on this list because they’ve managed to inspire and engage their employees, as proven by the feedback shared on Glassdoor.”

The UK’s Top 25 Highest Rated CEOs features in Glassdoor’s annual report recognising top leaders in countries across the globe.
