What's covered
- Up to £2,000 per claim to remedy or repair a breakdown or failure of your domestic electrical wiring (including wall sockets, switches, bulb sockets, security lighting & fuse boxes)
- No limit to the number of claims made per year
- Up to £500 towards a hotel if you can't live in your home for more than 48 hours

What's not
- The repair of domestic appliances, maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs
- Pre-existing problems, faults or permanent repair work which you have been advised is necessary
- The repair of portable appliances and portable or fixed heating
- Any item that isn't part of your domestic electrical wiring
- Wiring connected to satellite dishes, radio & TV aerials, burglar alarms, telephones, smoke detectors, doorbells or electric garage door systems
- Electrics connected to pumps, swimming pools, ponds, water features or fish tanks

Terms & conditionsMaking a claim
To make an insurance claim, give us a call on 0800 247 999 and we'll start the process immediately. Have your policy number ready. It's always stated in your policy schedule.
We can obtain all the details we need over the phone so there are no forms to fill in. We will then process your claim and arrange for the work to be completed. All you need to do is sign to say you're happy when the work is complete.
