• External drains that are your sole responsibility (up to £4,000 per claim)
• Up to £500 towards a hotel if you can't live at home for more than 48 hours
• Up to three claims per year for internal plumbing and drains and up to two claims per year for external drains

In general, all homeowners are eligible to apply unless the property is:

• A flat, mobile home or bedsit
• In multiple occupancy
• Used as council housing
• Used for commercial purposes
