Landlord's Gas Central Heating Cover

Protect your rental property's gas boiler and gas central heating system with Landlord's Gas Central Heating Cover. If things do go wrong, your tenants can claim directly from us.

An excess of £50 applies to each claim made. This payment must be made before an engineer is deployed. It is the landlord's responsibility to pay the excess, however we will accept payment from the tenant in order to allow the claim to proceed.

Gas Central Heating Breakdown
A leak within or breakdown of the 'natural gas' gas central heating boiler, the central heating system and its associated pipework
Drain down and isolate a leaking water tank, cylinder or radiator
Up to £3,000 per claim, up to 5 claims per policy period up to a maximum of 5 claims across the whole policy per policy period

Excess Amount Payable

You will have to pay the first £50 of any claim. We can only accept payment using the following cards: MasterCard, Solo, Switch Maestro, Visa or Visa Delta. A separate excess payment is required for each area of policy coverage affected by a claim, whether for a single incident which requires you to claim under more than one area of policy coverage or for each new unrelated claim you make. Excess payment(s) will be taken when you call to make a claim. Please see the policy Terms & Conditions for further details.

Gas Central Heating Breakdown
Boilers which have been declared beyond economical repair (i.e. if the cost of parts including VAT is more than 85% of the retail price of the boiler)
Systems specifically stated to be not covered, including; LPG systems, unvented cylinders, fan heating, under floor heating, warm air heating
Repairs if we have advised you to carry out maintenance work to prevent a future breakdown (until that work is complete)
Repairs, where due to obsolete parts, we can no longer cover
you (your policy will have been cancelled/transferred)
Annual Boiler Service
This policy doesn't include an annual boiler service. If you'd

This policy is for landlords only.

Retail, commercial and other premises used for business are not eligible for this cover, and council and housing association tenants will not need this service.

Mobile homes, bedsits, sub-divided homes and sub-let properties are not covered.
