Our 'Complete Cover' policies have a new name!
As of January 2012, we've made a few changes to the way that we name our complete cover range of insurance policies.
Rather than use the word 'Complete', we use a new name which includes a number to define which policy is available:
Why have we made this change?
We're always listening to our customers and acting on their feedback to improve the level of service and understanding that our customers have about our policies.
You've told us that there was sometimes a little bit of confusion over what's covered in your complete cover policies. We've therefore introduced a revised policy range, where the number in each policy name ascends in line with the number of elements covered in your policy. This way, we're offering a clearer range of combined cover policies and helping to ensure that our customers find a policy which fits their needs and budget.
Do I get the same level of cover?
With the new HomeServe Cover options, you still have the same level of cover as before, plus some extra elements. We've enhanced our combined cover policies to offer (including):
- Seized taps included in HomeServe Cover 3
- Seized taps, improved security cover, improved pest cover for HomeServe Cover 7 and HomeServe Cover 8 options
Will I be charged more for the extra enhancements?
Every year when a policy comes up for renewal you may notice that the price is different to that which you paid before. That's because we review our services continually to ensure that we can continue to provide you with the cover that you need, which may impact upon our policy prices. Also you should be aware that some of our introductory offers are for your first year's cover only.
