Tradesman Quality
When you book or make a claim with Homeserve you'll get an experienced tradesman that we have thoroughly vetted.
We always use your feedback to improve on our service, so if you ever have to complain about the level of work completed, we will always do our best to resolve it.
How our approved tradesmen work
- All tradesmen are vetted and contracted by Homeserve
- They work locally, in direct contact with their Homeserve network manager
- When you book, or call to make a claim on a policy, the tradesman will come to your home to carry out the work required
- They always leave their work area clean and tidy
- You then have the opportunity to feedback on the quality of the job
How we vet tradesmen
- We visit their premises
- We get a copy of their up to date Public Liability Certificate, we insist on a minimum cover of two million pounds, in case of accident
- We validate their relevant trade certificates
- They agree to our Service Level Agreement, Key Performance Indicators, expected work standards and our standard processes and procedures
- They sign the Homeserve Health and Safety statement
- A Homeserve Director gives them final approval

What we don't do:
- Ask tradesmen to pay us to advertise them, we're not a directory - all tradesmen have been vetted by us.
- Leave you liable - our tradesmen have full employer's indemnity and public liability insurance, so if the worst happened you'd be covered..
- Break our word - we're one of the UK's fastest growing emergency companies, so you know you can depend on us in a crisis.
