What is the Warm Front Grant?
The Warm Front Grant is designed to help people in England make their homes warmer and more energy efficient through funding heating and insulation improvements.
The grant provides cover for people who are most in need, like the elderly and those on income or disability-related benefits.
The grant provides a package of insulation and/or heating measures up to a maximum value of £3,500 (or £6,000 where oil, low carbon or renewable technologies are recommended).
Am I eligible?
You could be eligible for a Warm Front Grant if you:
- Receive an income, disability, tax, or housing-related benefit
- Have a child under 16
- Are pregnant
- Are aged 60 or over
You may also qualify for the scheme even if you're not yet getting any benefits at present. When you apply, a check will be done to see if you're eligible for benefits and the grant.
