Is my warranty still valid?

Yes – your policy is still completely valid. All that has changed is that instead of being administered by HomeServe it is now administered by Castelan.

Your contact number and address remain unchanged for any claims, policy administration queries or complaints.

What has actually changed?

Only the administrator of the policy – there is no change to the underwriter, claims procedure, or any of the terms and conditions of your policy.

What does a policy administrator do?

The policy administrator issues certificates of insurance, deals with administrative matters such as address changes and handles claims on behalf of the underwriter.

Who are Castelan?

Castelan was formed in 2011 specifically to buy the retail warranties business from HomeServe, and completed this purchase on 11 July 2011. The staff of the retail warranties business transferred from HomeServe to Castelan.
